Blog Archive for October, 2010

Well, hello there! My gosh, this has turned into a long blog break! To be honest, I’ve been a bit paralyzed by a towering mountain of work, but I think I’ve gotten myself sorted now. Isn’t it funny how sometimes life chooses to happen all at once? I’m still learning to take one little step at a time and not get too overwhelmed by the big picture. I always end up taking a few days to freak out and be utterly useless before finally realizing that there’s no way over but through, and then slowly making progress. So the quiet of the last couple of weeks has been me trying to buckle down and take one thing at a time until I could see the light at the end of the tunnel. Which I now can – YAY!

In the meantime, I received several packages of new fabric that I designed for Robert Kaufman. I realized that it’s been a while since I posted any of the new stuff, so I thought I’d share the most recent collections. Robert Kaufman always sends me 2 yards of each print for my records, and usually I just keep those for reference, but I think I’m going to have to make myself an apron from the Cafe au Lait print. And Anabelle might need something with the Paris prints. And I could use a new bag for my sewing supplies…
